HK: Land of Dimsum and Curry Fishballs Part 3

Hongkong is a place for first-timers and, I should say, a very good place to be in for anyone. Aside from being one of the cities to go for budgeted trips, it offers so much than what is expected (that's from a first-timer's perspective hehe).

Viewing the best sunrise at Mt. Pulag

Climbing a mountain feels like climbing my mountain of fear. It was my resort after all the mess I was into both at work and in my personal life. I gave myself an opportunity to breathe and enjoy nature's beauty despite the very fact that the awful reality is pulling me down.

I was in Hundred Islands, Pangasinan

My impulsive summer getaway was in Hundred Islands, Pangasinan. With the aid of a co-volunteer, Hyleen, my trip was carried out smoothly without worrying about accommodation, food, and arranging a trip to Hundred Islands.

How I made that possible was probably because all the stars aligned for me to make that happen.

Dream, love, and laugh

I manage to get some good photos because people where I work at are generous enough to click it as I take a pose.
I wonder why not all people can be that selfless.
If a chance will be given to me, I'll take all the pictures I want to take and do all the poses I want to do.
Actually, sometimes it is not ourselves that we are afraid of. It is the people around that scare us big time. Because we know that not all of them are kind enough to give a compliment. And we are scared of them more than those who are kind enough to appreciate.
Yet I learned that, what matters is your will, passion, and heart to do something. The moment you have those three: you can care less of the people around.
So dream, love, laugh all you want! You owe it to yourself more than anyone in the world.

XOXO

HK: Land of Dimsum and Curry Fishballs (Part 2: Day 1)

The very beautiful view of Hongkong City Lights from Victoria Harbour.
It was 8pm when we arrived at Hongkong International Airport. I think nighttime is way better than the day as we got to see the City lights - and Hongkong is really captivating at night.

Everything's New

A new work. New office. New people. And new tasks.
This new working environment is so much relief. During the first months, I've gone exploring every possible opportunity there is to make my stay here worthwhile. And there is a lot to do actually. Aside from the freedom of contributing new ideas at work, which my boss is very much considerate about, living in the City is a great advantage to explore on my own and make my social life extra fun. I made a pact to myself (and my boardmate's) to make our weekends not boring.

And one of the things I like living in the city is - dressing up is no sweat! XD

My pretty officemates plus me! :)

Going back to NE

Last last weekend, I visited some friends in Nueva Ecija. Can't help it, you know, the place is very nostalgic. I stayed there for two days and two nights and enjoyed the conversation from morning to night.

HK: Land of Dimsum and Curry Fishballs (Part 1: Preparation)

I have written a post about my life checklist and that includes traveling abroad. This year, I made that come true after months of planning and saving. Truth be told, HK was the last thing on my mind since my heart longs to travel to South Korea and Japan (I'm still not losing hope though). But considering the cheaper flights to HK, it is something to really consider for a first-timer abroad. And I didn't regret pushing through it. That 2k ticket back and forth was worth it!
How did I get through the whole preparation thing is hereby listed. Go on and read ... some details might help you in planning your own. :)

Saying 'Hi' before I start blogging again!

Haler Baler!

Finally I got time to write and read more. Shifting to another work gave me more time to do those two so I'm expecting that blogging will be more frequent than before.

So much were missed during my hiatus that I even forgot to blog about most of them. However, I have come up with a few major things to chronicle from last year and early this year. This year is the best as I was able to do my first time travel abroad (it wasss AWESOME). And due to my messed up head and crossroads life problem, I took every opportunity to travel when I could during the first quarter of this year.

So lets get the ball rolling and do some BLOGGING! XD

 XoXo

All it took was a YES

Early this year, I became a part of something really special. This post might be too late already yet something I shouldn't miss sharing here.

My 2015 in review

This is a new year, a new chance, and new life for me. I can still imagine how I struggled to end 2015 most of the time crying and keeping myself together. It was the worst end-of-the-year I had so far :(. Even though how awful the year 2015 turned out to be, the beginning of it was not that bad. There are still memories worth the rundown when it comes to travel and other special events that made me very happy. But for the past year's highlights, I'll enumerate both the good and bad moments.
